Coral Reef CSI (Virtual): The coral reef is a unique and essential ocean habitat, but corals across the world are disappearing. Who is the culprit? Increased salinity, human pollution, increasing water temperatures? Let’s test them all to find out which one is affecting the reef. Students will receive a shark tooth necklace kit to put together along with the instructor during the program. For aspiring scientist, participants will also get two “16 in 1” water test strips, so that after the program they can measure chemical levels in their own water and draw conclusions based on what they learned in the program. Crystal Bay Lab (Virtual): Someone is polluting Crystal Bay! Students will learn about soil and water sampling and testing methods, and use the test results to work together and figure out who the culprit is. A post-program activity, students will also receive two "16 in 1" water test strips. They can test water sources in their own neighborhoods and draw conclusions based on what they learned in the program. Age 11 and up 60 Minutes $275.00
Owl Pellet Dissection (Virtual): Owls are amazing birds of prey, but they have some weird habits around the dinner table. In this program, students will meet a LIVE OWL! They will also receive an owl pellet and dissection kit before the program. Follow along with the instructor as we learn a little more about these birds and figure out what owl pellets are, why owls make them, and finally, what's inside?! Ages 10 and up 60 Minutes $375.00
